Awkward and fuzzy-headed, a trio of young green herons tumbled over each other under a Cascade Falls Bald Cypress at the edge of the water. Two of them quickly flitted away, leaving the third to contemplate whether to make the short flight to the center of the pond or scurry back under the cyprus. It chose the flight, joining its siblings to learn more heron tricks.
